Allied Arts at Annandale Elementary

Inspiring Creativity, Movement & Exploration

At Annandale Elementary, we believe in educating the whole child. Our Allied Arts programs—Physical Education, Art, Music, and Media/Technology—give students the opportunity to explore their talents, develop new skills, and express themselves in creative and meaningful ways.

 Physical Education

Our PE program promotes health, teamwork, and lifelong fitness habits. Students engage in fun, age-appropriate physical activities that build coordination, cooperation, and confidence.

 Art

In Art class, students explore a variety of materials and techniques while learning about famous artists and cultures from around the world. Creativity and self-expression are at the heart of every lesson.

 Music

From rhythm and melody to singing and instruments, our Music program nurtures a love for music in every child. Students develop listening skills, perform in groups, and even compose their own simple pieces.

 Media & Technology

In the Media/Technology program, students build digital literacy, research skills, and responsible tech habits. They also explore basic coding, digital storytelling, and keyboarding in a safe, supervised environment.

Our Allied Arts team works together to enrich every student's learning experience—helping them grow not just academically, but also physically, socially, and creatively.
